Value proposition targeted in our DX strategy

The basis for our digital transformation (DX) strategy is no different than for our businesses: Our approach to connect closely with individuals that emphasizes every person’s needs for housing, work, and relaxation. Through DX initiatives, we will evolve and revamp the Nomura Real Estate Group’s strengths of a market-oriented approach, business collaboration and value creation within the Group, commitment to quality, and open-minded approach to new ideas and businesses. This will result in the development and provision of products and services that will contribute to enhancing the Quality of Life (QOL) of customers.

QOL improvement

To improve QOL, we place emphasis on the following two aspects: Life (people’s respective lives) and Time (every moment of their time). We aim to provide new products and services by stepping up our development efforts with a further focus on people through DX.

Nomura Real Estate Group’s Unique Approach to DX (Achieving the Digital Dream)

To us, DX means to transform businesses, business models, and created value through digital means and build a digital business. We refer to creating new value and unprecedented convenience for people through the use of digital technology as our “Digital Dream.” The Nomura Real Estate Group tackles DX with a people-centric approach. We have developed and released a wide range of user-centric products and services through our approach to connect closely with individuals. Through the use of digital technology, we will accelerate our product development process that emphasizes people’s needs for housing, work, and relaxation, and develop new markets by reinterpreting the products and services that have been offered by a wide range of business operators and industries so far. In this way, we will achieve our “Digital Dream.”

Establishment of a DX strategy platform

We will aim to establish a platform that utilizes digital data by building on one of the Group’s strengths, its customer base. From a user’s perspective, the platform will also contribute to the improvement of people’s QOL, as various products and services will be available from one touch point.
