    ・The company will comply with related laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries and guidelines.
  4. 4. Acquisition etc. of Personal Information
    ・The Company will acquire the personal information in an appropriate manner in compliance with related laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries.
    ・When the Company acquires personal information from a third party, the Company will notify the individual of the source and type of the personal information shared.
  5. 5. Use etc. of Personal Information
    ・The Company will not use personal information outside the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
    ・Except in the cases constituting exceptions under related laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries, the Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the individual identified in such information.
    ・In case of providing personal information to a third party, the Customer will be notified with information of the third party.
    ・In cases where the handling of personal information is entrusted in whole or in part to a third party, the Company will provide necessary and appropriate supervision of the relevant service provider to ensure the security of such personal information.
    ・In case of conducting automated processing (including profiling), the Company will explain the method and its impact on the Customer.
  6. 6. Common Use of Personal Information
    There may be cases where, in order to ensure the provision of comprehensive services by Nomura Real Estate Group, the Company will use personal information common with companies belonging to Nomura Real Estate Group, in accordance with related laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries.
  7. 7. Overseas transfer of personal information
    The Company may provide personal information to the following business operators outside of this country including business entrusted companies and international organizations in accordance with related laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries.

  8. 8. Security Measures for Personal Information
    ・In order to prevent divulgence, loss, destruction ,unauthorized use and the like of personal information, the Company will take security measures that are necessary and appropriate depending on processing stage, e.g., acquiring, use, storage.
    ・The Company will retain personal information only for the period to achieve the purpose of use or laws and regulations require.
  9. 9. Dispose of Personal Information
    The Company will dispose the personal information by appropriate method immediately after the retention period has expired.
  10. 10. Rights of Personal Information
    ・If the Company receives a request from a Customer for disclosure, correction, deletion or discontinuance of the Customer’s personal information based on the Customer’s right, the request will be handled in accordance with the achievement of the purpose, related laws and regulations as well as the procedure set forth by the Company.
  11. 11. Formulation and Implementation of Rules on Handling of Personal Information etc.
    To ensure that this Personal Information Protection Policy is carried out, the Company will formulate internal rules on the handling of personal information, will thoroughly disseminate such rules to its officers, employees and other related persons, and will thereupon implement the same. Further, the company will have such rules be maintained continuously, and will improve the same as necessary.
  12. 12. Application and Revision of Personal Information Protection Policy
    This Personal Information Protection Policy will apply from the date of its publication on the Company website. Further, if revision of this Personal Information Protection Policy is required under laws and regulations or the company otherwise determines such revision to be necessary, the Personal Information Protection Policy may be revised without prior notice. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

  1. I. Purpose of Use of Customer Personal Information
    The Company will use Customer personal information for the following purposes. “Customer” includes not only persons who currently or in the past have had contracts or transactions with the Company, but also persons who are likely to have such contracts or transactions with the Company in the future, in cases where such persons are corporations, the persons in charge at such corporations..
    1. 1. In order to engage in the following conduct in relation to contracts/transactions involving the Company.
      1. (1) Preparation/negotiation for execution of contracts and carrying out of transactions.
      2. (2) Execution/performance of contracts and carrying out of transactions.
      3. (3) Carrying out of various procedures before and after contracts/transactions.
      4. (4) Delivery/communication of various introductions relating to contracts/transactions.
      5. (5) Provision of various types of information and services relating to contracts/transactions.
      6. (6) Various administrative processes relating to contracts/transactions.

In order to engage in sales activities in regard to the Company business, including delivery of materials, provision of information, introduction of/solicitation for products and services, announcement of events, collection of questionnaires, whether by postal service, email, telephone, door-to-door solicitation, or other method.
    3. 3. In order to engage in activities such as analysis of Customer/market trends, survey analysis for product development etc., and preparation of statistical information.
    4. 4. In order to provide to third parties, with Customer consent or pursuant to laws and regulations, within the scope necessary to achieve the foregoing purposes of use.
    5. 5. The company will not collect sensitive information about Customer except in the following cases, in principle.
      1. (1) In case the Customer has given clear consent
      2. (2) In case the Customer has expressly disclosed
      3. (3) In case a court or the judiciary requested
      4. (4) In case it is required to protect the life or important interests
      5. (5) In case it is decided by the laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries, handling of personal information or administrative guidance in operating countries. Also in case it is deemed to contribute to the public welfare based on such laws and regulations
  2. II. Purpose of Use of Officer/Employee Personal Information
    The Company will use officer/employee personal information for the following purposes.
    "Officer/employee" includes the Company's officers and employees (general employees, clerical employees, residential sales employees, CS staff, consultants, supervisors, expert positions, active positions, support positions, part-time employees), temporary employees, and employees seconded to the Company, as well as those who held the foregoing position in the past and applicants for hire.

    In case the Company uses or provides Customer’s personal information for purposes other than the previously described purposes of use, prior notice or consent confirmation will be conducted as required by laws and regulations.

Customer’s Rights to Personal Information

The Customer has the following rights to the Personal Information that the Company acquires and processes:

  1. I. Right to Withdraw Consent
    The Customer may withdraw the consent to the managing of personal information at any time in accordance with the laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries.
  2. II. Right to Request Restriction on Access, Correction, Deletion or Processing of Personal Information
    1. <Access to Personal Information>
      (1) The Customer may check that the personal information is being managed in the Company. If so, the Customer may request the Company to disclose the personal information managed.
    2. <Correction of Personal Information>
      (2) The Customer may request to the Company to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information without delay in accordance with the laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries.
    3. <Deletion of Personal Information>
      (3) The Customer may request to the Company to delete the personal information without delay in accordance with the laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries.
    4. <Request of Restriction on the Personal Information Processing>
      (4) The Customer may request to the Company to restrict the process of any personal information in accordance with the laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries.
    5. (5) The Company will notify the Customer in advance in case of removing the restriction previously described in (4).
    If the Company has corrected, deleted or restricted the processing of personal information in response to a request from the Customer, the Company will share the information with the business operator managing the subject data in a timely manner. In addition, the Company will provide the information of the business operator upon a request from the Customer.
  3. III. Right to Object
    The Customer may object to processing the personal information in accordance with the laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries.
  4. IV. Right to Data Portability
    The Customer may receive the personal information concerning the individual in a structured, common used and machine-readable format in accordance with the laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries. The Customer may also have the right to transmit those data without hindrance from the Company

The Company may common use Customer information acquired by the Company as follows, in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations for personal information protection in operating countries.
“Customer” includes not only persons who currently or in the past have had contracts or transactions with the Company, but also persons who are likely to have such contracts or transactions with the Company in the future, and further includes, in cases where such persons are corporations, the persons in charge at such corporations.

Handling of Personal Information on Websites

    The personal information of the Customer is automatically protected via "SSL" by using a secure browser. Although SSL for this website is supported by browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer version 11 and later, we recommend the Customer to use the latest version of browser for the enhanced SSL functionality and the resolution of the recent security bugs. This website uses SSL, a sophisticated encryption technology, to send and receive personal information safely. Depending on the Customer’s environment, the security warning screen may appear, however, the Customer’s personal information is properly encrypted and sent/received.
  2. 2. Use of Cookies
    Cookies may be used on this website in order to improve service to the Customers. A cookie is a text file that is stored on a user's computer when the user accesses a specific website. It is primarily used to confirm the user by system, and can save the trouble of entering personal information.
    The Company may use the collected data to analyze user trends on the Company website and to display the most appropriate advertisements on the external website based on the usage. The Company will not use the data for other purposes or provide the data to a third party.
    The Customers may set own browsers not to accept cookies however, in such case, please note that the Customer may not be able to receive some of the services on this website.
